Ancillary Services
The entire hospital is covered by Close Circuit Television (CCTV) facilities for high degree of continuous observation and active supervision for providing better healthcare, enabling better administration and to prevent unauthorized activity in the premises.
The well-furnished Auditorium with air conditioned, audio visual facilities is provided for conducting CME programmes and teaching for PGs and UGs in the hospital. Apart from this, many workshops and functions have been conducted in this auditorium.
A police out post has started working in the premises from 04-02-2005 directly under the supervision of the District Superintendent of Police, Kalaburagi. At present round the clock one head constable with three police constables are posted to the outpost. They maintain law and order in the premises, and gather all the information of Medico Legal cases of the hospital.
The hospital is providing free food to the patients, who are admitted to free beds in the hospital. Many philanthropists have come forward to provide free food under the scheme of Nitya Anna Dasoha, which has provided forum for the interested donors to sponsor on specific occasions such as - Birthday, Marriage Anniversary, Death Anniversary of their kith and kin and other religious ceremonies.
The government of karnataka has permitted to undertake the autopsy of all Medico Legal Cases, which died in this hospital with effect from 28.07.2008. The staff's of Forensic Medical, M R Medical College, Kalaburagi are conducting the Post-Mortem work. The Mortuary of this hospital is well equipped with the facilities of cold storage and sufficent flood light.
